Ken Roath – CEO/Owner

Ken has managed the company since 1980. His honesty and integrity have been evident in his operation over the years. Ken’s friendly approach has kept his customers coming back for multiple generations of families. Ken participates actively in the pawn industry by regularly attending seminars and trade shows. He is also the president of the B.C pawnbrokers association.

Kyle Roath – Gemologist/Diamond Grader

Kyle has been involved in operations at Roath’s for over 20 years. Kyle is a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America (Residence) and brings expertise in this important area of the shop. Kyle is a Registered Master Valuer Appraiser from the California Institute of Jewellery Training. This enables him to do a very accurate appraisal for your jewellery items. He is happy to answer any questions you may have about jewellery, including designer and antique jewellery.

John Prychon. – Goldsmith/Bench Jeweler

John is our master Goldsmith. John’s detail oriented approach ensures the best quality jewellery repairs. John has been with Roath’s for over 30 years and is an important member of our team. John is an avid mineral and rock collector. He is also a member of the local rock club. He speaks Spanish and English.

Maci R. – Assistant Manager/ Sales and Loans Specialist

Maci has been with us since the spring of 2016. Maci has over 15 years of customer service experience. Maci’s knowledge in wrist watches and jewellery has built up her own loyal customer base, here at Roath’s. She is fluent in English and Tagalog enabling the company to extend our services beyond adequate. Not only is Maci knowledgeable in our product department but she’s also one of our experts in Loans and financial advise.

Anastasiia R. – Sales and Loans Associate

Anastasiia has over 5 years of experience in the customer service industry. She can speak Ukranian and English. She is knowledgeable in our product inventory and also our loan department; she can give you a good recommendation according to your needs and preferences.

Anita M. – Sales and Loans Associate

Anita has been with us since the summer of 2023. She has over 7 years of customer service. She is multilingual and can speak English, Hindi and Nepali.  She is very good in maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times. She is also knowledgeable in our product inventory and our loan department.
